Cebu Republic Joins Scott Kelby Annual Worldwide Photowalk 2018

Cebu Republic hosts the annual photowalk with its participating photographers coming from within and outside Metro Cebu

For the fourth straight year, Cebu Republic has been actively participating in the annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk where photographers in all corners and cities of the world gather together to socialize, share and inspire.

The Cebu Republic panel of judges and community has chosen this photo among the dozens of walker photo entries uploaded and entered into the 2018 Scott Kelby PhotoWalk photo contest done in Cebu City Oct. 6, 2018.

Capturing moments

This year, the photowalk covers the downtown Cebu City area, particularly in Carbon Market and Freedom Park with the theme “Local food supports local families.” The activity aims to support the businesses of local economies, farmers, fisherfolk and diversified local agriculture.

After a short gathering and pep talk, the group of fifteen (15) participants then went on their way to the outskirts of Carbon Market, first proceeding to the vegetables and local produce section, then to the fruits and basic commodities, meat and fish section and all the way up to the vast array of flowers at the Freedom Park.

With the participating photographers having had their fill of the sights and sounds of Cebu City's famous, bustling and busiest marketplace, the annual photowalk sponsored by Cebu Republic in partnership with Nero Printing Services is a resounding success coupled with wonderful experiences worth treasuring.
