Malapascua Island - The Top-Most Gorgeous Beaches in the 7 Popular Islands of Cebu
Of the more than seven thousand islands in the Philippines, Malapascua is fast becoming one of the top diving destinations. Aside from its multi-colored living corals and fascinating marine life, perhaps its attraction lies in the fact that it's a tiny, little isolated island whose tourism infrastructure and facilities are yet to be completely developed.
As such, if you're serious about enjoying a genuine get-away-from-it-all place, this is it. Its resorts are nested among the villagers' own homes, giving it a very local ambience. You won't find any ATM's though and credit cards are seldom accepted. Neither will U.S. dollars nor Euros help. Most of the Malapascua resorts would rather accept Philippine pesos than foreign currency.
Board and Lodging
Depending on how fussy your are, there are accommodations to suit every taste with room rates ranging from US $ 20- $ 140 a night. The cost of food by western standards is pretty reasonable. Even prime steak and other high-end type of dishes come at prices you'll be glad to pay. Dive prices may vary though, but of course, when one talks about diving and great diving sites, prices are the least of one's concerns.
LANGUB BEACH (MALAPASCUA ISLAND)
Frolic in the sun-studded tropics of the Malapascua Island, enjoy and explore its fantastic coral gardens, underwater shoals, submarine walls, hundreds of species of marine life in a single location, and so much more. The island is also known for its abundance of thresher sharks and giant manta rays which could be found around the island whole year round. Moreover, the southern beaches of the island have talcum-fine white sand, a rare find on the planet.Despite its seclusion from civilization, the island has so many bars, resorts, restaurants, dive shops, souvenir shops, hotels, and other worthy places to stay. You can get to the Malapascua Island via a bus-ride or a van from Cebu City’s North Bus Terminal going to old Maya Port (Daan Bantayan town). Then, you must secure a boat ride from the old Maya Port to Malapascua Island.
LOGON BEACH (MALAPASCUA ISLAND)

Logon Beach also offers one of the cheapest rates among the beaches in the island.
