There are so many ways you can reach El Nido from various origins; here are some of the routes when you are originating from Metro Manila and Cebu:

• From Manila/Cebu to Puerto Princesa
  
  • Daily flights to Puerto Princesa International Airport, through a direct flight from Manila or Cebu.
  • The two main airlines operating daily flights between these cities are Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines.
  • Once you land at Puerto Princesa, Palawan, take a tricycle ride from the airport to San Jose Terminal (fare averages P120 per ride). If you are on a budget and enjoys the luxury of time, take a trike ride from the airport to Junction 1 (fare P8.00) and then take a multi-cab that will take you to San Jose Terminal (fare is P12.00).
  • Take a van or bus from Puerto Princesa to El Nido at the San Jose Terminal. Travel time usually takes between 5 to 6 hours. Price per seat ranges from P600 to P700.
    
    
• Direct flights from Manila to El Nido
  
  • Taking a plane from Manila to El Nido is the fastest and the most comfortable way to get to El Nido when you are in Metro Manila and the surrounding provinces. There is one company named ITI (Island Transvoyageur, Inc.) which operates 3 chartered flights a day between El Nido and Manila.
    
    Here are the time schedules:
    
    Manila-El Nido: 7:30am - 11:00am - 3:00pm
    El Nido-Manila: 9:30am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm
    
    The flight will be landing at the Lio Airport in El Nido, a mere 4 km from the town proper. Take a tricycle ride near the airport or check with your tour agency if they are going to fetch you from the airport.
    
    
• Direct flight from Cebu to El Nido
  
  • Daily flight from Cebu City takes off at 12:55PM from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA).

    It depends on the season and the special offers of ITI, but most of the time, it's around P7,000 to P9,000.
    
    How long does it take to go from Manila to El Nido by plane?
    Around 1 hour and a half. Compared to the 12+ hours of flying to Puerto Princesa and going by road to El Nido, it's an ultra-quick way to get to El Nido.
