Cebu Republic: Another feather on the cap
Attended by more than hundreds participants, the series event was hosted by none other than its founder, Ricky Sevilla. The event was held last September 27-28 at the shoreline of Portofino Beach Resort in Bo. Angasil, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Cebu..

Themed with the advocacy dubbed as Basura Asa Ka, which primarily an environmental awareness concerning the proper waste/garbage disposal and maintaining the cleanliness of the environment to avoid the harsh effects of its degradation.

Ricky also discussed the advocacy Basura Asa Ka with Noli Hernandez (president of Megaworld Cebu Properties, Inc.) together with the company’s staff. Subsequently, Ricky welcomes and orients all the participants about the event’s advocacy.

The Lunatrek Series 2015 is one event Cebu Republic is supporting as part of the Community’s commitment to give the people of Cebu and it guests, well, nothing more but the best events in Cebu.

Partying under the moonlight
The participants trekked the vast coastline of the beach of Portofino barefooted at the start of the event. They felt the fine sand and were mesmerized by the cold and pristine water. They were then treated to various activities such as the environmental talk mentioned above, mini adventure race and other beach adventure party.

Dinner was served under the romantic moonlight in boodle-fight style. As night falls, the beach overnight camping and the free-for-all party had begun. Drinks and spirits were served, while some enjoyed promenading within the beach.
Guest artists performed their respective gig as the night deepens; this made the crowd more excited. The cold night just turned hotter and bolder for the merry campers.
